Operation & Maintenance

The ICQ Group completely controls its production plants for renewable sources, both in the planning and implementing phase and during operation. All plant operation and maintenance activities are carried out through a specialized subsidiary: Gestione Energetica Srl.

In this way, the ICQ Group is capable of optimizing maintenance costs also thanks to the scale economy attainable within the Group and of achieving the best operational results in all plants in terms of efficiency and economic performance.
Furthermore, belonging to the Group allows Gestione Energetica Srl’s operational structure to collaborate with the project planners and designers and consequently acquire detailed knowledge of the actual plants, which would otherwise be difficult in case of external management.

Gestione Energetica operates the plants through operational centers distributed throughout the national territory and has two central units in Bentivoglio (Bologna) and in Torre S. Susanna (Brindisi), for building and assembling components and packages for energy production plants and for routine maintenance of the generators.

Gestione Energetica guarantees the execution of all activities linked to plant operation and maintenance in complete safety and in compliance with Italian laws and regulations, as well as on the basis of its operational procedures, needs and production objectives.

Gestione Energetica has qualified personnel and specialized technicians for the major machinery and plants.
